• In their ten years of activity, Mariposa have always been considered an oddity within the Italian music scene.
  With its seven members coming from a variety of different regions and musical backgrounds, the band's music is a mix of songwriting, psychedelia, free-form and musical theatre.
  Over the years they have published ten albums and EPs; their latest, simply titled Mariposa, is a back-to-the-basics of sorts, a collection of songs that represent the band's unusual and quirky idea of Pop music.
  Fiercely independent, their record label - Trovarobato - also produces other artists, radio shows and all sorts of live happenings.
